Located in Praia do Forte, this hostel is 350 metres from Praia do Forte Beach. It features free WiFi and daily buffet breakfast. This is a wonderful hostel centrally located in Praia do Forte recognized by Hostelling International that has a variety of accommodation options. I spent 3 weeks as a solo senior (65 yrs old ) traveller here in a room with a private bathroom. My room was spacious and clean with a smart TV, efficient air conditioning, ceiling fan, comfortable bed and plenty of storage space. The bathroom had great water pressure and the shower had plenty of hot water. The included breakfast buffet had a nice variety of delicious food including vegetarian options. The staff at the hostel were all courteous, accommodating, professional and many spoke excellent English including the very friendly owner/manager Paulo. The wifi connection here was excellent. The hostel has bicycles available to rent. Residents of the hostel get huge discounts on many attractions and businesses in the Praia do Forte vicinity. There was a terrific self service laundry (Lavo) just steps away. This is a fantastic place to stay for solo budget travellers like myself, couples or families with children. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this quiet well managed hostel and would definitely return when visiting Praia do Forte.

In the heart of Morro de São Paulo village, Che Lagarto hostel offers bright rooms and colourful facilities near beaches, shops and restaurants. Accommodation includes free WiFi. Loved the staff and the location. Great grocery stores nearby. The outdoor communal kitchen was fun, clean, and very convenient for full-time travelers who love to cook.

I was pleasantly surprised by our stay at Dende Jazz. Fran, our lovely host, made us feel comfortable and at home from the very beginning. He offered us two different rooms at the same price so we were able to pick the one we liked more. The breakfast was simple but perfect (eggs, bread, ham, cheese, fresh fruit and fruit juice, tea, coffee and fried plantains). The location is maybe 25m from Praia 3 and a very short walk to the other beaches. Our room was so nice; super clean, comfortable, great a/c, nice balcony with a hammock and all to ourselves. Fran also informed us about the nightlife in town. Highly recommend!

It was exceptionally clean, with a great breakfast, in a really good location. Rafael could not have been more helpful, he was always available to answer questions and offer recommendations. If you’re looking for a calm, peaceful place to stay in Itacaré, I hugely recommend!

My stay in Casa das Irmãs was easily the highlight of my trip to Vale do Capão. I was met with such kindness, warmth and good energy; truly unmatched ✨ I loooooved our communal dinners of cooking together, dancing together and just the feeling of being surrounded by beautiful, sweet and caring women. Tati is the heart and soul of this place and cares for you like you are her sister 💕 When I come back to this magical town, I will definitely stay in Casa das Irmãs again, no doubt 💫
