We like all the facilities espesially the kitchen, we saw everybody cook and eat together in the same room. It was so warm. The room it's so great with mointain view. This is recomended for family travelling.

The host was super welcoming and friendly and had hosted us with a big smile, positive energy, and with our room ready. The room was HUGE and we had a little balcony, which we really, really enjoyed! We rented eBikes which we absolutely LOVED, and there is no better price in the area than at this hostel. The location was perfect, close and far enough from the center, close to a number of grocery stores. There was free coffee, which made a HUGE difference 🙏🏼 All the necessary kitchen supplies were there and we were able to cook. We were able to park at the property, and the host let us leave our car for a few hours after our check out. I will DEFINITELY stay at Walter's Hostel the next time I visit Interlaken, and it is definitely happening again! Reopened in April 2018 after extensive refurbishment and surrounded by a quiet garden with a terrace outdoor chess and morris, this youth hostel in the centre of Bern is just a 5-minute walk from the Swiss Parliament and the Aare River. Free Wi-Fi is available. I really enjoyed my stay here, I had my own room and found it very cosy and spacious. It was easy to find from the Bern train station and easy to explore Bern by foot. I liked the view of the river from the room. Overall I recommend this hostel
