The property is located in a small but cute village near a free public parking which is very convenient and easy to reach. The communication by the staff was excellent. We got in touch via Whatsapp, they replied very quickly and were willing and helpful. We got clear info on self check in, about the location and public parking and also good tips for getting to Gibraltar. The room itself was a good size, had a fridge and a microwave, the bathroom was spacious and everything was clean. There was a vending machine on the ground floor which might be useful.

Conveniently located in Conil de la Frontera, TAKE SURF Hostel Conil offers air-conditioned rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi and a bar. The property is around 400 metres from Los Bateles Beach, 19 km from Novo Sancti Petri Golf and 47 km from Genoves Park. The accommodation features a shared kitchen, a concierge service and organising tours for guests. It's an excellent hostel, everything very well thought, when they built it - in addition to that there were several plus-points: 1. The team: everyone there were very nice and let you feel to be part of "their family" from the first minute on. The owner Unai, the guy at the reception Alberto and even the cleaning lady. The atmosphere which is caused by that gives a very nice social vibe. 2. I met many very nice people there, in the week I stayed and everyone was very open. Don't worry, not in a party mode, it's just very easy to socialize if you want and yoj will have your quiet space, if you need it. 3. Said that I'm not a surfer and with almost 50 not having the typical hostel-age - I felt extremely comfortable there. If you are a surfer or not, doesn't matter. But the people who came there to surf, found an attached surf school and had a great time surfing. 4. I was in 4-bed room which was quite spacious and had very comfortable beds with a mattress size of 1,10 meters! 5. The hostel is perfectly located - only a few minutes walk from an amazing beach - where you can enjoy on the right hand side a nice beach time with beach bars and in the left hand side you can enjoy endless sunset walks to unwind (I really enjoyed that after my remote working at the evenings). 6. In just 5 minutes walk you are in the center of the very charming white Andalusian village with lots of authentic bars and restaurants and even outside of main season a vibrant night life at the weekends. 7. In only 1-2 minutes walk you also find a supermarket and a tuna-museum and a free library. All in all I had a great time at the hostel and I'm pretty sure, that I will come back soon.
