This hostel is AMAZING! The facilities are bright and super clean. Rooftop with a pool, and beautiful plants everywhere, it's so cosy and relaxing that I wanted to stay longer. I was working remotely from Veranera Hostel and met other digital nomads too. The beds are comfortable and the curtain gives you complete privacy. The location is perfect, just 5 minutes walking to the beach and main food street. The staff is friendly and helpful. I'll definitely go back soon 🙂

First off, everything felt brand new and was impeccably clean, from the common areas to the dorms. I loved the stylish interior design; it gave the whole place a chic and welcoming atmosphere. The rain shower in the bathroom was a great touch! What really set this hostel apart was the brilliant concept in the dorm rooms. The bunk beds were arranged in small, semi-private compartments, usually two beds together, which could be sectioned off from the rest of the room with a curtain. Each individual bed also had its own curtain, offering maximum privacy. The beds themselves were solid and comfortable—you barely noticed when the person above you moved, as there was no wobbly noise or shaking. The communal area was another highlight. It was designed like a cozy living room, making it the perfect space for socializing, cooking, working, or just relaxing. It truly encouraged interaction with other guests. Last but not least, the owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone traveling to Nerja!

We stayed one night at Hostel La Fanega before our Caminito del Rey trip. The host, Martijn, was very kind and accommodating about our arrival and departure times. The room was clean and comfortable, and we had the shared, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom to ourselves, as we were the only guests. The location was perfect for our needs—close to Caminito del Rey. An extra bonus was the sweet family dog, who came by in the morning to say goodbye!

At the hostel all rooms are equipped with a shared bathroom with a shower. I have stayed at many hostals and this is by far the best one so far. The beds are well designed for privacy, the bedding looked brand new and the decor is modern and stylish. Great showers which were spotlessly clean. Spacious lounge/dining area with lockers for storage of valuables. Well equipped kitchen for preparing meals. I really appreciated the tea/ coffee, olive oil and other condiments that were provided . Private enclosed outdoor area with plenty of seating and surrounded by the history of the mill. The added bonus being the company of two lovely guards dogs 🐶🐕,♥️ The owner was extremely helpful on my arrival, showed me around and helped find a secure place for my motor scooter. The location is peaceful with beautiful surroundings. I found a great walk to the fountains nearby . I would definitely recommend staying here especially if you like being surrounded by nature.
