It's right at the bus stop and close to everything. Supermarket is a 5-10 minute walk away. The hostel is very well run and very clean. Bathrooms are great. Great showers! We never had to wait for a shower and there is a sink in the room as well. We usually stay in hotels, not hostels, but we had a private room and we were perfectly happy with Murray Library.

Ullapool Youth Hostel, located on Ullapool seafront, offers views over Loch Broom and the Beinn Dearg mountain range. Rooms in the hostel vary in size, including private rooms. Absolutely great location, near the pubs and ferry terminal. Simple, yet very clean facilities, and a fantasticly organisized self-catering kitchen (plenty drying towels and other supplies). Special shout-out to Fiona at the reception who enthusiastically consulted with with regards to live usic pubs and dining opportunities.

The kitchen is absolutely perfect with everything you could need. The hostel is only 3 months old and purpose built as a bunkhouse/hostel.
