With views of the surrounding countryside, dormitories come with simple retro-style furnishings and each shares a bathroom. The Freezer Hostel is probably one of the coolest places I’ve stayed at in Iceland! It’s beautifully decorated with a lot of art and characters, even the rooms are covered in art! The rooms were nice, beds comfy and the kitchen was pretty well equipped- you’ll find everything you need. The staff is super friendly, happy to tell you all the fun stories about the places or help you plan your day.

Grundarfjordur Hostel is located in Grundarfjordur village on Snæfellsness Peninsula. It offers free parking and individually decorated guest rooms with free WiFi access.

All guest rooms at Hostel Grundarfjordur have access to shared bathroom and kitchen facilities. Most rooms have a view of the town. Views were gorgeous, easy access to the town, beds were comfortable, check in and out process was easy. No complaints, would stay here again.

Snorrastaðir Guesthouse is located in Kolbeinsstaðir. The hostel provides mountain views and a terrace.

At the hostel each room is equipped with a shared bathroom with a shower.

Reykjavík Domestic Airport is 111 km away. Staff was VERY friendly and helpful! They were available when needed and delightful to speak with. Location was lovely and had a beautiful view!
