We arrived 3.5 before check-in but my husband was very sick with a head cold. They kindly cleaned our room quickly so my husband could lie down. There is a full kitchen to use with stove top, microwave, fridge, dishes, coffee and tea all day. There is a lovely lounge area to use. There are shared toilets and showers but I never had to wait for either and the water is hot. Wifi worked great. Their breakfast to order is only 600Y with eggs, toast, yogurt and jam/butter. Yuzan is located minutes from the train station and we walked to all the sights within Nara Park. I highly recommend this guesthouse!

Very close to everywhere we wanted to go, right next to Nara park, but not far from the station. Takashi, our host, was charming and spoke perfect English. He recommended where to go and returned to the house to show us how to turn the heating on when it got cold. We had a wonderful stay and we already miss it!

The rooms are clean, the AC works really well and can be adjusted as wanted, bathrooms are clean and one was always available. There are large tables with lots of chairs in the main room, two couches and an outdoor area. A small kitchen that has everything you need including cups, utensils, bowls, kettle, tea, pots pans etc. Highly recommend, I would stay here again in a heartbeat
