This is a perfect choice for your hiking, skiing, onsen, snow or simply relaxing trip in Zao Onsen. -Location is the best, i literary removed my skis in front of the hotel door after the last slope. The hotel provides space to dry your boots and gloves and store your gears/skis. This hotel is the perfect hotel for skiers and snowboarders. It is in front of multiple gondolas and ski-lifts in Zao Onsen resort. Nearby there are restaurants, ski rental shops and many public bath / Onsen. The hotel is 15 minutes walk to a convenience store ( Lawson) and I personally walked 15 minutes from Zao Onsen bus station to the hotel when I first arrived. - Room was comfortable, spacious, warm and simple. The temperature can be adjusted with an heather. It wasn’t my first time sleeping on the Japanese Futon, and I love it every time. if you want to enjoy Japanese culture this is a good start! Wifi works perfectly. -bathrooms are clean and never crowded. -Staff is wonderful. Ryo and the lady working in the hotel are super kind and sweet. They are very nice and helpful. They will help you in everything you need during your stays. They will recommend you the best onsens, how to rent your skis, how to get your ski pass ticket, how to get to the top on the mountain in 45 minutes like a Japanese to see the snow monsters! To get to the hotel there a many buses during the day from Yamagata station to Zao Onsen bus terminal. From the bus terminal I waked to the hotel with my bag and boots and is not difficult for me even with lots of snow on the road. But there are some taxis to book. Thank you, see you soon

Bridge33 CAFE AND HOSTEL se nachází v destinaci Takagi a nabízí pokoje s klimatizací a bar. Shiogama Shrine je 11 km daleko. Compared to some places I've rated a 10, this could be a 12! Amazing value. It's a short walk from the two main stations (around 10 mins) and about a 20 min walk to the famous bridge. The place was modern (seemed recently opened) and was very clean throughout. I had a single room that was really spacious. The bed was comfy and it was a really quiet area. Best night's sleep in over a week! The kitchen/ lounge area was also spacious and clean. The owner/ staff were also really friendly and stopped in to have a chat. I wish I could have stayed longer - the cafe/ bar downstairs seemed like a cool place. Highly recommend!

I think this might be the best place I've stayed in Japan. Log burning fire, hosts that bend over backwards to welcome you and they picked me up and dropped me off from Oja station. Brilliant pre stay communication. Excellent facilities.

Naka-yasumiゲストハウスなかやすみ se nachází v destinaci Aizuwakamacu, nedaleko od zajímavých míst, jako je Aizuwakamatsu vlaková stanice a Hrad Aizuwakamatsu. Very friendly and helpful owner. The guesthouse is really clean, safe, quiet, in a great location. Toilet and shower room are separated. There is a laundry machine on 1st floor. Towels are provided. Room is very well ventilated and doesn’t feel stuffy. In female dorm I find the table/chairs are quite handy - great for reading/working a bit. A functional kitchen on 3rd floor - had my breakfast there. The shokudo restaurant across street offers hearty meals. Owner recommended it to me and I truly enjoyed it. Would stay here again - 10/10

Very spacious and comfortable bed, there is a small area where you can leave your bag next to the mattress, but you also have a little bit of space on the other side too. The best thing was the small fan in the bedroom. Loved it. Also, the door is an actual door you can lock and not only a curtain.

Yamagata Guesthouse山形ゲストハウス se nachází v destinaci Murayama v regionu Yamagata. Jen 500 metrů odtud je Vlakové nádraží Murajama. Very cute and conveniently located in a building with restaurants. I like that they offered shuttles to Ginzan Onsen. The trip allots for about an hour of sightseeing. If you don’t plan on getting in the onsen, it’s the perfect amount of time.

Guesthouse & Kitchen Hace se nachází v destinaci Iwaki a poskytuje pokoje s klimatizací a bar. Aquamarine Fukushima je 11 km daleko. Breakfast was individually organised and wrapped that made the whole experience a lot more unique. The whole building was an ex taxi noffice in traditional style. Had a cute little table for eating food. Don't expect spacious facilities, but if you are after traditional Japanese experience with home atmosphere, this Guesthouse is for you.

The stuff was incredibly friendly and helpful, such warm people! We stayed for two nights and had a wonderful time. The restaurant is perfect for lunch and dinner, especially the beef bowl is amazing! We definitely recommend staying here!
