The place is spotless and thoughtfully designed, with a beautiful garden, a shared kitchen, and cozy little spaces for reading or relaxing. Books are everywhere, free tea and coffee are always available, and the whole space feels warm and welcoming — more like staying in someone’s home than at a guesthouse. The real highlight, though, is Udaya. He’s one of those rare hosts who genuinely cares. From small details to big arrangements, he always made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. Even after I left Kandy, he helped me organize a fantastic driver for my onward trip and kept in touch to make sure all was going smoothly — such a thoughtful gesture. The location is great too: peaceful and quiet, but still an easy walk into the city and close to all the main sights. I left feeling not just rested but uplifted by the kindness and positivity here. And considering everything that’s included, the value is incredible. If you’re heading to Kandy, I can’t recommend Eden Kandy enough — it’s the kind of place you’ll remember long after you’ve left.

The property was clean. The mountain views are awesome. I bought two meals and the food was good.

Amazing host treated us so well, excellent food so delicious, "Megala "the lady cook made ( pittu) for the breakfast the best ever also support us on laundry thank you so much. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean and cozy, and the view was absolutely beautiful. It’s in a peaceful location but still close enough to explore the city. Would definitely stay here again!
