All the facilities were new, the bed was comfy, bathroom was small but private, kitchen was fully equipped and clean. Location is very convenient: walking distance from then old town, lots of places to dine in around. The hostel offers easy check in and check out, we had no issues at all.

All dorm rooms come with individual lockers for every guest. Fresh linen and towels are also provided. All dormitories and private rooms have shared bathrooms.

Cinnamon Sally Backpackers Hostel is located close to the historic centre of Riga. It is less than a 10-minute walk from the Old Town. Great staff, checkin experience was really good. The lady was very enthusiastic and showed us around and to the room too (and I checked in post 6 pm). Room was comfortable Toilets were clean Location is walkable (around 1 km) to old town. The weekly Wednesday folk dancing experience is not to be missed. Join that for sure. That was my best cultural experience in all of Europe. Breakfast is good.

Central Hostel is 1 km away from the central train and bus station. Vērmanes Garden is within 650 metres. Several low-priced restaurants are nearby. It was a great price and although the kitchen and bathroom wasn’t always spotless, it wasn’t the failure of the host, it was the other guests who are not respectful. There is a huge variety of tea plus coffee that can be enjoyed all day long. The apples were provided ( although some people obviously take more than enough for one snack!) The host responses were fast and friendly. Easy to find and to access.
