They had so many tips not just for attractions and restaurants around the area but how to avoid certain scams going around, discount vouchers and so much more. We really enjoyed our stay here. We also rented a scooter for 2 days and drove around everywhere.

At the hostel, every room includes a wardrobe. This is the best hotel/hostel I have ever stayed at. It felt like a tiny resort somewhere in the dessert. It is located 20 min walk from the center. It’s also quiet so you can work by the pool and head out to town in the evening when the temperature goes down

All the dorm-style rooms open out to a balcony. Each is equipped with tiled floors and a fan. Shower facilities can be found in the shared bathrooms. The hotel was really good and clean, the room was comfortable. Nice and friendly people working there. Kitchen was good too. Location is amasing. BUT! I really don`t like the situation with cash payment. AFTER my booking I`ve got a message from the hotel, that payment is by cash only. I was not ready for this, we was travelling and spend almost all cash. I wanted to cancel my booking and book another place after this message, but I couldn`t because if I cancel, I need to pay anyway by politic of cancelations, I`ve wrote my card detales for guarantee. When I`ve booked, I see payment options and there was a lot of options, cards also. I did print screen by my phone with payment options but it didn`t help. Lady on the reception saw my screen, smile and sad "Sorry, cash only". Finally we`ve found a way, they accepted my bank transaction only because I have mexican card. Thanks a lot for this. I don`t know what could I do if I didn`t have local card. I asked them to contact booking, but they didn`t. Owner, please, write all information about payment options correct BEFORE the booking, not after! Anyway, I give 10 stars because I like the hotel. Just I`m writing here about payment because it`s important for travellers.

The rooms at Hostel Candelaria offer colourful décor, lockers and a fan. The bathroom is shared and located detached from the rooms. There is also a TV lounge for guests to enjoy. Some rooms have air conditioning with a surcharge. The ambient is amazing, a lot of plants everywhere :). Kitchen is well equiped and clean. Breakfast was very delicious and staff is friendly and helpful. We also loved the cooking class organized by the hostel.

First off, the hotel’s location is super convenient, just a short walk from the bus station, making our arrival in Valladolid a breeze. Our private room was a good size and comfortable, and we really appreciated the cold water filter at reception. While they offered social events, we were so busy exploring we didn’t have time to join in. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable about the area, cenotes, and how to get to Chichen Itza. They offered great deals and discounts for cenote visits, which saved us money and even scored us free drinks. Originally, we had planned to do their transport tour, but the option to rent a scooter and explore on our own—avoiding the crowds—was a game-changer and made our trip so much more memorable. We genuinely feel that booking here helped us get the most out of Valladolid
