Pramod, Gopi and others in the owners' team made my stay very pleasant. I also like the cleanliness and that rooms are for 4 people, making it not overcrowded. Moreover, you can easily eat here with quite a selection if you don't want to wander around the city too much to find something. Also, they will gladly do your laundry :)

Overall, I really loved my stay here and would definitely recommend it!

Location is just perfect, close to monasteries and the monkey temple, it's 15 min walking to thamel so luckily not in the middle of the touristic chaos, the staff was amazing, hope to see you again soon!

The location was really great for my needs and also close to everything that one might want to do. Even though I have not had the opportunity (as I was working) I do appreciate the free trips they organise. If ever coming back to Kathmandu, there is no other place I would stay.

Always hot water, everything clean, everyone genuinely smiling. Such a pleasant stay in the city i know and visit very very frequently but always stay away from the center. Sunny is the best host ever! He took personal interest in us and we had some nice conversations. The rest of the staff is also exceptionally nice! I liked the hostel so much that I came back for a second stay bring a couple of friends. Even booking one night in advance I could get two rooms and everyone was happy to see us again. The food and coffee were really good!

The location was great, it was very easy to get around everywhere, the food was great, and the rooms felt clean and comfortable! The best part is honestly the people working here. They have become like family to me <3 I was staying here for almost a month and a half in spring of 2024 but I wouldn't have stayed as long as I did had I not bonded as hard as I did with Bishwo and Lena especially. We would eat together often, go out together, spend many late nights talking or jamming together or with other hostel guests and friends from the area, we made so much fun together! We'd spent the Newari new year together (Biska Jatra) and even took little day trips to Nagarkot for hiking and swimming. Staying here was a very special experience for me as I am sure it was for many other guests who have had the pleasure of getting to know the Swastik Hostel crew <3 I cannot wait to come back and see everyone. So much love to you Hostel Swastik, I miss you so much, and thank you for that time.
