Situated in Marahau, Kanuka Ridge Lodge is a short drive to the beach, the cafes, restaurants and the start of the Abel Tasman National Park. Free unlimited WiFi and private parking. The owner was super friendly and great to chat to, a really funny guy. The accommodation was clean and the veranda was lovely. There were loads of birds in the bushes. The veranda is shared but the people next to us weren’t a bother at all. Because there are only 8 cabins everything is really relaxed and quiet which is really nice. It is also only a short drive down to Marahau.

Meg was amazing and super hospitable. The facilities were incredible with heaps of stuff to do and an awesome cinema room. Everything was clean and comfortable, would 100% recommend staying here.

White Elephant Accomodation is located in Motueka. You can enjoy garden view from the room and 1-hour free WiFi access per day. Really nice hostel, big old house with very nice facilities. There is a lot of backpackers that work in the area that stay at the hostel and there is a few nice cats hanging around the hostel making it feel more like a home.

I loved the cleanliness of the place, the layout, the spacious kitchens (there were 2) and the hostel was relatively unoccupied when I stayed so there was plenty of room to spread out.
