Tours readily available, common kitchen is simple but has everything you need. Breakfast changes every 3days so that's great. No bunk beds in the dorms which is a plus cause who wants to climb after a day of hiking. Very hot showers as well. Good location from the square

You can play table tennis at the hostel, and the area is popular for cycling. Love the breakfast here, it was different every morning and they were all delicious. Paul is super helpful, not only he helped me arrange local tours, he is also very knowledgable of the local transportations and nearby hikes so I couldn take public transport and hike on my own. Also very considerate, make sure I have properly acclimatized before doing any hikes. On days that I had to leave early to a tour, I was given bread (basic but still nice) to take with me.

We went on an 8-day Huayuash trek with Erik and the whole experience was spectacular. Erik is a very able and knowledgeable guide. He is eager to share his understanding of the mountains, Peruvian history and politics and the rich culture of the country. The food he provides is delicious and his equipment and organizational skills are excellent.

All rooms at the accommodation are fitted with a seating area and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Brenda and her husband are super nice and welcoming, they helped us with rescheduling the booking multiple times when I wasn't feeling well. The room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed, highest standard than anything else we've had in Peru so far. It was lovely to see all the animals and great to have access to coffee all day.

Wifi was good, though I didnt need it much. Lots of common areas and hammocks. Would def come back.

I enjoyed every minute there, can't wait to come again :)
