They went above and beyond to make sure I have a wonderful stay. Romulo and Gelga even help guests book and arrange the tours they want to do. They also provide warm compress every night, which is especially great during winter. Room and Facilities: The room and facilities were always kept clean and pristine. Laundry service is also available. Breakfast: Loved the breakfast!! Gelga and Romulo always made sure we had enough food and they always blended fruits in the morning to make us fresh and organic juice. Location: The hotel is 30 minutes away from the city center by taxi. The surrounding nature, however, makes up for the distance. It's right beside Templo de la Luna and a huge, huge, huge national park that you can explore freely. You can even go horseback riding if you want to. And Romulo can hike with you and give you a tour of the park and talk about its history. Pets: They have 2 dogs, Lupo and Sophie, and 1 cat, Whiskey - all of whom are well trained and very sweet. Overall, this is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed in - - it's a place where you know and feel that the hosts truly care about you. You will not regret staying here. ❤️

Manuel Chavez Ballon Museum is 19 km from the hostel. Amazing place! Freddy and Esther (and their daughter Lia) are super nice, when you stay here you become part of their family. Freddy took us on a coffee tour in the afternoon and explained everything about the coffee they produce and how everything works. The food we got here is amazing (both dinner and breakfast). The shower was nice and warm, and the bed was super comfy. As a bonus the stargazing on the football field next to the place was perfect as well. Definitely recommend!

My experience at Ivan’s hostel was very pleasant and he was a very generous host. We had great fun for pizza night (genuinely one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a long time) and had a great time playing games. Ivan has created a really impressive area surrounding the hostel with a sauna and swimming pool. The living quarters are comfortable with really big and comfortable beds. I will be back soon!
