Well-equipped kitchen, very friendly host, rich breakfast, nice terrace. We enjoyed our stay a lot and even extended spontaneously. The host only speaks little English but communication was no problem. Everything was well organised and nice. There are guide books and more tourist info material, a little library, two bikes, sun beds for the terrace, condiments and other equipment in the kitchen, everything you need.

We stayed in a private room with private bathroom and it was very clean and very well equipped. The staff is incredibly friendly and super helpful and they have an easy to follow late check-in process which is great. Overall very good place to stay for a great value with a simple breakfast included. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Featuring a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer, some rooms at the hostel also feature a city view. This exceeded every expectation. The owners and staff were friendly, extremely helpful with tips and arranging reservations for a guided tour in town. Their care for you as a guest starts even before you arrive by sending thorough, useful information on how to get to the house and where to park (we would have been lost otherwise, as our plane was quite late and we were sleeping on our feet by the time we got on the road). The room was beautiful and spotlessly clean (and I'm quite nitpicky regarding cleanliness). The breakfast was lovely, genuinely local if, like everywhere in Portugal, a bit skewed towards the sweet (nowhere else have I seen yogurt served sweetened). I truly hope to get back to Angra one day just to stay here again.

I could park the car 5 min from the hostel for free and there were always free spots.
