Your host, Nezir Ago, is a local sculptor and the creator of many of Berat’s most iconic public artworks – including the bust of Constantine the Great located inside the city’s castle.
Passionate about both art and hospitality, Nezir has filled the guest house with his own sculptures, offering guests a truly authentic and inspiring experience. He’s always happy to share stories about his work, the city’s history, and local traditions.

Welcome to The House of Sculptures, a unique 4-room guest house located in the heart of the historic Gorica neighborhood in Berat. This traditional stone house offers not just comfort and hospitality, but a rare artistic experience.
Every sculpture adorning the interior and exterior spaces is an original work by Nezir Ago, a renowned local artist and the creator of many of the public sculptures found throughout the city of Berat. Inside this house, you will live surrounded by art that tells the story and spirit of the city.
