Sitting 1,300 metres above sea level, this hotel in the pollen-free zone of Zillertaler Alpen Nature Park offers a traditional Finnish sauna, regional food and drink, and a free hiking tour through the surrounding Tyrol nature trails as well as guided hikes and a weekly hiking program with the hotel's own Tyrolean mountain hiking guide. Featuring fine wooden panelling, all rooms at the Hotel Burgschrofn offer a satellite TV, seating area and balcony/terrace with mountain views. A rich, freshly prepared breakfast buffet is served each morning in the Burgschrofn's country-style restaurant. The spacious spa area invites guests to relax. Visitors can also sit and read a free newspaper on the terrace, while children play in the on-site playground. The Spannagel Penken climbing park is a 10-minute drive away. All year skiing can be enjoyed at the Ski & Gletscherwelt Zillertal 3000, 5 minutes away by foot.
