Offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, the 4-star Genuss- & Aktivhotel Sonnenburg is a family-run hotel with a gourmet restaurant in Riezlern in the Kleinwalsertal Valley. It offers a small relax spa with a Finnish sauna and a steam-room. Austrian cuisine from fresh regional and seasonal produce and fine wines are served in the traditionally furnished gourmet restaurant, and vegetarian and vegan options are available. The quiet, stylish rooms at Genuss- & Aktivhotel Sonnenburg offer a flat-screen satellite TV and a bathroom. Massage treatments are available on request. Guests can enjoy the new infinity pool on the rooftop with 360 degrees mountain view. The surrounding Kleinwalsertal-Oberstdorf Ski Area offers 130 km of slopes in all degrees of difficulty, 50 km of cross-country ski runs and various winter hiking trails. For ski and cross-country rental you get discounted rates at the Mode Sport Kessler in Riezlern. In summer, the unlimited use of 8 cable cars is included in the room rate. The free local bus stops right outside the Sonnenburg Genuss- & Aktivhotel. Guests receive a 30% green fee discount and a free starter set (golf balls and tees) at the 9-hole golf course in Oberstdorf, 12 km away.
