District 12, Maidling. The Meidling transport system includes the Vienna-Meidling railway station, which provides communication with almost all of Europe. The main shopping street of the district – Meidlinger–Hauptstrasse - is a pedestrian zone with many cafes, shops, boutiques and restaurants.
