The House valbel is located in the beautiful region of St. Anton am Arlberg. The name “valbel” comes from Romansh and means “beautiful valley.” It refers to the Schönverwall – a side valley that we consider one of the most beautiful places in the world. Thanks to its quiet location in the St. Jakob am Arlberg district – far from the hustle and bustle – you can enjoy a relaxing, car-free stay with us. The excellent, free public transport system takes you comfortably anywhere you need to go. Restaurants, a supermarket, and a petrol station are only a few minutes’ walk away. Our Valbel House is also the ideal starting point for numerous hikes and mountain bike tours.
We, the family Alber, love nature, the mountains, and the special spirit of St. Anton am Arlberg – a spirit that is truly unique in both summer and winter. Our family is at the heart of everything we do, and it is important to us to pass on values rooted in a deep connection to nature, mindfulness, and mutual respect. Your hosts Alexandra (Alex) spent every summer of her childhood on the alpine pastures and Ferdinand (Fetz) grew up on a farm. Our roots lie in the Stanzertal in St. Anton am Arlberg, and although life has taken us far out into the world, one thing has always been clear: this is where our hearts belong. Returning to our homeland, we fulfilled our dream of creating our own home – a place where family, nature, and genuine hospitality come together in harmony. We want to show our guests how valuable true experiences and real encounters can be. Treating one another with respect and warmth is second nature to us – not only within our family, but also in the way we welcome our guests. After all, a tourism destination like St. Anton am Arlberg thrives on people who live hospitality with passion and joy.
