Situated across from the Goolwa Yacht Club you will enjoy yacht races, joggers, cyclists, dog spotting, birdwatching, and passing houseboats on rotation.
This well-appointed holiday home on the bend of the Murray River caters for a fun and comfortable stay. Enjoy a bottle of local wine on arrival and experience stand up paddle boarding with pelicans and black swans on the boards provided. The encounter bikeway is at your front door and will take you all the way to Port Elliot, Middleton and Victor Harbour. We have two kids bikes, or you can hire extra bikes locally.
Bombora cafe is an easy 180m walk along the river, serving excellent breakfasts, local pipis, oysters and salt and pepper squid. Or 1 km along the bike and walking trail you will find the Goolwa Wharf Precinct with the renowned Mediterranean restaurant Hectors on the Wharf, local Ngarrindjeri art installations, the Signal point experience centre, locally brewed whiskey at Fleurieu Distillery and local wine tasting at 90 Mile Wines. The Cockle train operates daily to Victor Harbour and on the first and third Sunday of each Month you will find the Goolwa Wharf Markets.
Goolwa beach is 2 km away (a 4 min drive or 30 min walk) for great surf, boogie boarding or lunch at Kuti shack cafe. Cockle season runs from the start of November to the end of May.
Leeside has beds for 6 people across three bedrooms, one with an ensuite bathroom. We provide a fully equipped kitchen, coffee, tea and a bottle of local wine on arrival. The two bathrooms and additional powder room are decked out with soaps, shampoo and conditioners. All your linen is also provided so you can arrive and revive!
