Rooks Edge is located at the edge of Bullengarook, overlooking Lerderderg and Wombat State Park with open views to the Brisbane Ranges, the You Yangs and Corio Bay. This is the perfect central site for you within 10-30 minutes drive of 16 wineries, Hanging Rock, Kyneton Hatted restaurants, Gisborne restaurants and cafes, weekly farmers markets, artisan crafts, galleries or hiking and mountain bike riding. When you arrive you will enter through a common entrance into the central area containing a wood fire oven, library, breakfast area and kitchen. Then onto your huge ensuite room with magnificent views.

Run by a husband and wife team, James and Ronelle, it was our love of travelling and meeting people and wanting to share the property that led us to open the B&B. Feel free to join us on our farm shenanigans, have a look at James kit-built aeroplane; or spend your time discovering the Macedon Ranges, or just hanging out reading a book. We believe in 'paying it forward' and offer land to an Australian Wildlife Rescue Refuge and have rescue animals from Edgars Mission and Life of Pikelet Animal Rescue Groups. We also have yarn produced locally from our family of stud sheep on the property. A registered sheep stud, the open spaces, cosy fires, wool shop and local artisan crafts, inquisitive sheep and native Australian animals will make your stay one to remember. Rooms are named after our stud sheep personalities, we know, but wait until you meet them.

Bullengarook is in the 'goldilocks zone' to access many areas: from Bacchus Marsh festivals, to wineries, farmers markets, artisian galleries, swimming and hiking.
