“Jenolan Street Chalet” is found within the quaint town of Oberon, lct'd between Syd 2.5hr & Bathurst-30mins. This slice of history was orig. owned by Oberon’s timber industry founders & offers a truly unique place to stay! Oberon is located near many tourist attractions, including Jenolan Caves, the beautiful Mayfield Gardens, Kanangra Boyd National Park & The Three Sisters in Echo Point Katoomba. The Oberon Golf Course just a 2min walk & trout fishing the picturesque Lake Oberon down the road. Enjoy being right in the town (just minutes from the town centre) but with an “out-of-town” feel. The home sits high on the side of a hill and hence has fantastic views which overlook the town of Oberon! The amazing views can be enjoyed from anywhere on the property. From the large timber deck balcony just off the main bedroom upstairs, to the large picture windows in the downstairs lounge room, to the to the outdoors BBQ area. Relax with a hot cuppa sitting on the deck watching the sun rise over the town in the early morning, or simply enjoy a glass of wine in early evening while the sun sets. Reserve land at your boundary means wildlife such as kangaroos, wallabies and wombats feed nearby and are frequently seen in the early morning and late afternoon. You’ll love coming home to this substantial 2-storey, 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom residence and bathrooms are found on each level, with a separate toilet upstairs. The living space is huge – with lounge room (with piano!) and adjoining sitting room creating an expansive open plan space, perfect for unwinding with friends and family around the feature fireplace. The separate formal dining room offers large picture style windows on the north-west side of the house - just perfect for entertaining over lunch or dinner. Your fully equipped kitchen is complete with electric appliances including microwave, toaster, kettle, Nespresso machine and a fridge. Crockery, cutlery, cooking pots, cooking utensils are all provided.
