Whale Haven is located 400 metres from the whale viewing platform at Logans Beach. The beach and the whale viewing platform are accessible by beach tracks near the house.
Located under 10 minutes from town, the main beach and all the local attractions, yet the location feels wonderfully secluded, offering the best of both worlds.
The open-plan kitchen, lounge, and dining area take centre stage at Whale Haven, with floor-to-ceiling windows framing expansive coastal views. In winter, you might even catch a glimpse of a whale passing by.
The kitchen is an entertainer's dream, featuring a spacious island bench with a double sink, a large fridge with ice maker, coffee machine, dishwasher, and spacious walk-in pantry. The 5-burner gas cooktop makes meal preparation a breeze. The kitchen space is as functional as it is stylish, allowing you to entertain and cook while enjoying the company of family and friends.
The large dining table seats 10 and the lounge features a 77 inch Samsung smart TV, large sectional couch, lounge chair with ottoman and a gas log fire.

Logans Beach is easily accessible via a beach track which is a short stroll from the house. Known for whale watching during the cooler months, it's also a popular surf break, Due to the strong currents and ocean swell, swimming is not recommended here, but it's a great place to explore. The Hopkins River Mouth, locally known as the Blue Hole (located 2km from the house), is a stunning spot with dramatic cliffs, unique rock formations, and natural rock pools. It’s a popular destination for fishing, scenic walks, as well as kayaking and paddleboarding. The Foreshore Promenade connects Warrnambool's beaches from the Hopkins River to the Lady Bay, linking up with the Rail Trail to Port Fairy. Ideal for a morning run, a leisurely walk, or a bike or scooter ride with the kids. There's also some great coffee spots along the way. Many visitors come to the region to experience the geothermal pools at Deep Blue Hot Springs. Sessions are available throughout the day and evening with other wellness and spa treatments available.
