About the property
Originally built in 1929 as a horse paddock by Lucien Beauduin for his son Pierre, this unique property was transformed into a family home in the 1930s and has just been fully renovated in 2025. With its rich history and Moroccan-inspired décor—brought back by the current owners after several years living in Morocco—the house combines authentic charm with modern comfort.
Spanning 360 m², the house offers generous spaces for family gatherings and holidays. The interior features warm oriental touches such as carpets, lanterns, and artisanal objects, while the garden of 3,500 m² invites relaxation with a chlorine pool and plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors.
For nearly a century, “Le Paddock” has been a place of conviviality—originally designed for horses, then becoming a beloved holiday home for generations of children and grandchildren. Today, it welcomes new guests to create their own memories in this peaceful corner of the Hageland.
Ernesst is a Belgian hospitality company founded in 2019, starting with the rental and management of a single tiny house. What began as a small project has grown into a collection of unique stays across Belgium, including tiny houses, cabins, and other special accommodations.
Our philosophy is to create places where guests can slow down, reconnect with nature, and enjoy a memorable experience. Each property is carefully designed or renovated with attention to detail, comfort, and authenticity—whether it’s a cabin perched in the trees, a lakeside tiny house, or a historic home with a story.
With several new projects underway, Ernesst continues to expand while keeping a personal and human touch in the way we welcome our guests. We are passionate about offering spaces that feel warm, inspiring, and different from traditional hotels, making every stay truly special.
