At various places along the seafront you can rent (electric) bikes and make beautiful bike rides and walks along the most beautiful paths or the Zwin Nature park in Knokke - international bird airport. The medieval city of Bruges and the picturesque city of Damme are less than 20 minutes.
The accompanying promenade offers plenty of restaurants and shops, serving up helpings of ice cream, or sugary Belgian waffles, delicious dinner with seaview.
Knokke-Heist is also a paradise for shopaholics. From refreshingly simple to remarkably exclusive and also 7/7 non-stop open.
In winter Knokke-Heist is the ideal place to relax for weekend.
During the month of December Knokke-Heist is enchantingly illuminated and children can enjoy outdoor ice skating.
Thanks to the use of child safety wristbands, you need not worry about your little ones in Knokke-Heist. Find a nice spot and fit your child with a wristband, which is available free of charge from lifeguards, beach first aid posts, deckchair suppliers and the Tourist Office (Zeedijk 660, Knokke).
