Situated right at the bank of the well-known Blausee lake with its crystal-clear blue water, this hotel features a gourmet restaurant offering trout and other delicious treats. A spa area including an outdoor hot tub is there as well.
The elegantly furnished rooms of the Hotel & Spa Blausee offer views of the Bernese Alps and some have lake views. Each comes with a private bathroom.
With its 13 Gault Millau points, the fine-dining restaurant serves regional fish, meat and vegetarian dishes and selected wines. A 4-course dinner is available on request. There is also the Blausee Cafe in which we serve bagels, homemade cakes and specialty coffees. Both have a terrace open in summer. Evenings can be spent in front of the fireplace in the cosy lounge or at the bar.
Spa facilities are available for free and include a sauna, a sanarium, a steam grotto and a hot tub. Children can have fun on the adventure playground, you can enjoy rides on the lake with a boat featuring a glass bottom and visit the on-site trout farm.
The Blausee hotel is located 900 metres above sea level, a 10-minute drive or bus ride from Frutigen and Kandersteg. Free private parking is possible 200 metres away.
