More than 10 years receiving guests from different parts of the world who come to discover the magic that hides our enigmatic Island of Rapa Nui.
We have native staff who will attend each of your concerns with a smile and explain their own cultural customs that are sometimes so diferent for those who visit the island for the first time. We also have foreign personnel rooted for many years on the island who may present a different vision than a native.

Hostal Vaihere, is a warm accommodation located in a privileged area of Hanga Roa, in a family neighborhood and a few meters from Av. Atamu Tekena, the main avenue of downtown area in which you can find restaurants, agencies, supermarkets etc.
The Hostel has comfortable and simple rooms, where we ensure a full and restful rest for all our visitors. All rooms have comfortable beds and decorated with the Polynesian style that characterizes the island.
The facilities of Hostal Vaihere, give the possibility to you, our guests, to enjoy a small natural paradise, our garden. Where you can enjoy different fruit trees and native plants.
In addition, we have a fully equipped kitchen and Internet connection (Wifi) completely free.
Concerned also of your entertainment, in our hostel we recommend the best services of shows, tours, horseback riding, diving, rent a car and bicycle rental, since we work with local tour operators, collaborating in this way with the sustainable tourism policies of the island.

Our accommodation is 100 meters from Atamu Tekena Ave. and 800 meters from Mataveri Airport. Close to all points of interest in the city center, you will have access to live cultural shows of Rapa Nui dance, restaurants, pharmacies, banks and the town market, where you will find typical crafts of the island, along with fruits, vegetables and own fish of the island.
In the neighborhood live ancestral families who live with tourism for many years, with many stories to tell and with which you can cross any day and perhaps engage in a pleasant conversation.
