Property information

Nicoya Villas is a 4 villa property. There is a pool with a large sundeck, perfect for hanging out or for kids. The teak Gazebo is a great area that can be used to play ping pong, foosball, play cards or board games, or to just hang out on the chairs or hammock. The teak gazebo is also a great space for special events. You can see a video of the villas on our website, look for Nicoya Villas. Ask us if you are interested in a yoga or Jiu Jitsu retreat. There is staff on site daily. Mal Pais is a relaxed, laid back town. It is more residential and is a few minutes away from the bigger crowds in Santa Teresa. There are restaurants and a small shop just down the street. The quiet hours are between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.

Neighbourhood information

Mal Pais is a small coastal town, beautiful and relaxing, a few minutes away from the busier Santa Teresa. Nicoya Villas is set off the road, away from the dust, an oasis in Mal Pais. Mal Pais is much less crowded than Santa Teresa. Beautiful beaches line the coast and there is a quaint fishing village nearby as well as fun zip lining down the road with an incredible view. Enjoy a beautiful sunset at the tide pools and at Mal Pais Beach.
