Meet Your Hosts – Víctor & Gabriela
Hi! We are Víctor and Gabriela, a young married couple who fell in love with the beauty and tranquility of Bahía Ballena, Uvita. Inspired by the magic of this place, we decided to make it our home and create Rooms & Pool Macaws, a space where travelers can feel welcome, relax, and connect with nature.
We have three sons who share a passion for football, and as a family, we love the outdoor lifestyle that Uvita offers. When we’re not managing the property, you’ll likely find us enjoying the beach, exploring waterfalls, or cheering on our boys at their games!
We are Víctor and Gaby, together with our three children Flavio, Francisco, and Santiago — a Costa Rican family that loves welcoming travelers into our home. We truly enjoy sharing with our guests, helping them discover the beauty of Uvita, and making sure they enjoy an authentic and memorable experience in the area. For us, hosting is not just about providing a place to stay, but about welcoming people as part of our family.
Our neighborhood in Uvita is peaceful and surrounded by nature, yet close to everything that makes Costa Rica’s Southern Zone so special. Just minutes away is Marino Ballena National Park, famous for whale watching season and its beautiful beaches, perfect for long walks and unforgettable sunsets. You’ll also find nearby waterfalls, surf spots, and unique beaches such as Playa Hermosa and Playa Ventanas.
From here, it’s easy to arrange snorkeling tours to Caño Island or day trips to Corcovado National Park. In Uvita’s town center you’ll find supermarkets, banks, and restaurants with both local and international food, making it a convenient and enjoyable base for your adventures. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy nature, relax, and still be close to all the main activities in the area.
