Our Art Nouveau apartment building has recently undergone a complete renovation to the highest standard, all while preserving its original historic character. The charm of high ceilings, double-leaf doors, original windows, wooden floors and a traditional bathroom is beautifully complemented by a fully equipped modern kitchen — creating a unique blend of heritage and contemporary comfort.
Guests can also enjoy access to a stunning private courtyard garden, a peaceful inner oasis perfect for morning coffee, reading, or simply unwinding after a day of exploring.
My passion lies in architecture, design, and thoughtful renovation projects. I love breathing new life into old spaces, blending history with modern living and a touch of art. I genuinely believe that being surrounded by beauty makes us happier and enriches the emotions we experience every day.
Creating, transforming, inspiring — and being inspired in return — is at the very core of who I am.
Písek sits just one hour south of Prague and is known as one of the Czech Republic’s most artistic towns. A surprising number of remarkable people were born or lived here — music composers, painters and poets left their mark on its streets. Among the most notable are Adolf Heyduk and Fráňa Šrámek, and several buildings in town were designed by the renowned local architect Josef Pleskot.
History lovers are in for a treat: Písek is home to the oldest stone bridge in Central Europe, dating back to around 1270.
Foodies won’t suffer either: you’ll find excellent modern spots to eat or grab a drink. We recommend the Italian restaurant Pomodorro, the traditional Czech pub Kozlovna, or the uniquely designed café Upeklá.
Nature is right at your doorstep: the town is surrounded by forests and scenic trails. If you have time, take the pleasant 1.5-hour hike to Jarník Lookout Tower for a beautiful panoramic view.
