It has grown to become a little oasis for us, our big boys, daughters-in-law and other family members. When you drive over the dam towards Helnæs with Lillebælt and Helnæs Bay on either side, calmness sets in. Kitesurfers flock here as the bay is very suitable for surfing and fishing. Helnæs' beautiful nature with forest, the hilly terrain on the Bobakkerne and the beautiful meadow area on Helnæs Made provide peace of mind. We love going for walks or watching the sunset from our garden. We also enjoy the lovely beach at Helnæs Made, where we swim and throw stones. Helnæs has its own small ice cream parlor, campsite, inn, church and mill. A few kilometers from the dam are great places to eat such as Gl. Agernæs and Gl. Brydegård, and if you like Italian cuisine, the food at Å Che Buono on Å. Strand is also delicious. We also like to visit the local galleries or listen to music in Helnæs Culture and Music Association. PLEASE NOTE.
