On the terrace, you can read that long-awaited book in the sun or in the shade under the large, waterproof sailcloth while looking out over the wild garden, which is rich in tall trees, shrubs and scrubbery. The Weber grill has you covered for barbecues, where some provide the food while others play garden games until dinnertime. Meet Gunver We are a small family of three living in the center of Copenhagen. The hectic hustle and bustle of the city calls for peace and quiet, and we find it in our summer house, which is our sanctuary. The cottage is from 2021 and when we are here, we chop wood, cook from scratch and enjoy all seasons. We frequently invite friends and family to visit, so we've made sure there's plenty of room for guests. We always go for walks in the North Forest and also regularly visit Vikingehaven, Roskilde Fjord and not least Kulhuse Harbor, which has a child-friendly sandy beach and is all within walking distance. Kulhuse also has hidden gems such as Kongeegen, Kongens Lyng and the beach at the end of Sandsporet, which are also worth a visit.
