We are your hosts, Marianne & Graeme and we live on-site in the main Cortijo. Living with us are our two friendly dogs, Bonnie & Clyde, a collection of four cats, three brought over with us from the UK, Deano, TJ and Lulu and our rescue cat Bob. Not to mention our many named chickens. In July 2021 we embarked on a new chapter of our lives, drawn to the enchanting charm of Rambla de Oria after countless visits. Our quest for a forever home and a new venture led us here. We fell in love with this old Cortijo at first sight. The property sits high up on the slopes of the valley with stunning views in all directions. Just below the house is our olive grove and fruit orchard which provide us with fabulous extra virgin olive oil, delicious oranges, lemons, figs, pomegranates, pears and almonds. Once you are settled in it is entirely your decision how much contact you want with us. We look forward to meeting you.

Apartamento Rojo is a self-catering apartment in the beautiful surroundings of Rambla de Oria in the heart of the Andalusian countryside The property consists of our main house, an old Cortijo built over 150 years ago. A separate building consists of 3 self-catering apartments. Apartamento Rojo runs along side the main house. Your apartment has a gated private terrace leading to the front door which opens into the spacious lounge/dinning area. This has a double sofa bed, wall mounted TV, ceiling fan and open fireplace. Behind this room is the galley kitchen which has all the appliances needed no matter how long you're staying. Passed the kitchen is the bedroom with double bed and air conditioning. The en-suite shower room is 2 steps up from the bedroom. As well as having your own private terrace to sit in, relax and enjoy the view there are several other areas including a shaded terrace with views up and down the beautiful green valley, rooftop solariums that are not over looked so offer discreet areas for all over tanning, if required. A 4 person hot tub on one of the roof solariums and an infinity style pool which again is not over looked and has views down the valley.

Rambla de Oriais a rural farming area know for its olive oil, oranges and almonds. All our visitors are stunned by the amazing views and how green it is. Bar Angelita is just 1.5Km up the rambla where Frank & Lena offer a warm welcome, ice cold beer and great food. The town of Oria is just a brief 10 minute drive away, while a mere 15-minutes jaunt lands you in the larger town of Albox . Both offer an array of bars, restaurants, supermarkets and assorted stores. The local market in Albox on a Tuesdays is well worth a trip.
