About this property
Located in Tenerife’s Puerto de la Cruz, this historic hotel has a heated outdoor swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Rooms at the Monopol include satellite TV and a ceiling fan. The family-run Monopol Hotel was built in the 19th century and was used as the local dance hall. It still has its original wooden balconies and typical central courtyard, filled with palm trees and plants. Hotel Monopol is a 5-minute walk from the sea and less than 15 minutes’ walk from Playa Jardin Beach. Just 150 metres away, the lively Plaza del Charco is full of bars and restaurants. The hotel also has its own restaurant, 2 bars and a spacious lounge in the courtyard.
