Foxfires is owned and run by Anglo Polish husband and wife team Paul and Agnieszka and of course Gooseberry the Parson Russell Terrier! We have lived here in Levi since 2018. We love to meet new people and share our enthusiasm for food and drink and for this wonderful part of the world.

Foxfires mini Boutique Hotel was built in 2019 with the Guest rooms opening for customers in October 2020. Designed by Aggie and Paul we aimed to maximise the connection to the outdoors as much as possible. Huge windows bring the outside in and allow you to feel at one with the forest. We left as many trees standing as we could during the build meaning they stand close to the buildings becoming part of the architecture, part of the aesthetic of the building. Our guest rooms are individually designed and styled by us to bring you our take on Scandinavian design. On site you will also find the Arctic Spa, our traditional wood fired sauna and hot tub experience. This is a must do on any Lapland itinerary.

Finnish Lapland is a wonderful place with the cleanest air in the world plus Finns are said to be the happiest people in the world. Here in Lapland there are just 0.8 people per square kilometre. That means you can really feel that connection with unspoilt nature without interruption. Foxfires is set in Ancient forest on the southeast slope of Levi (the ski resort). It's an area of very few holiday cabins. We are just 300m from the ski slopes and trails. A good skier can ski in and ski out when the snow is good. We often get the Aurora overhead on clear nights and through the winter we get amazing views of the sunrise and sun sets that both take place on the southern horizon. The centre of Levi with its shops, restaurants and lively bars is just an 8 minute drive away.
