The only Igloo with a private Jacuzzi in Lapland. The unique Glamping (Glamour Camping) experience in an Igloo tent built with wooden frames, steel and white PVC cover, in the middle of the wilderness of an arctic forest. A cozy and warm Aurora Igloo Dome above the arctic circle. A unique construction to fall in love with the Northern Lights and the arctic nature. There are only two Igloo units of this kind in the arctic, they are part of a larger residential property that provides a traditional Finnish dry sauna, traditional Lappi indoor barbecue space, forest, and frozen lake hiking paths. The interior decoration of the Igloo tents may vary. We are a small family owner glamping location and located in a remote location outside of the light pollution area of the city. We invite the guests to self-cater by buying groceries in the city center and using our shared kitchen and BBQ areas to prepare their food. Note that, staying with us you will feel like a local - sleeping in a heated Igloo Tent. The heating is not automatically controlled, so the guests have available a electric heater and a fireplace inside the Igloo tent. You will receive instructions on how to heat your Igloo Tent, if you follow correctly you may reach +40°C inside the Igloo Tent, and if wrong, they temperature may drop to +10°C, but we have someone on the location to help you with the heating if anything is needed. If it is too cold outside (<-30°C) and in order to keep >30°C indoors, you may need to feed the fireplace each 3 hours. Furthermore, we operate as a sustainable hotel, we advocate for recycling, using local produces, and utilizing handcrafted items and second-hand purchases from the local villages to financially incentivize the aging population. We're located in a small village with the average age of 75 years old! Let's be respectful of their traditions and forests by keeping it clean and enjoying nature like the old times.

Igloo is located 35km north of Rovaniemi - the capital of Lapland. It's surrounded by pure Lapland nature - forest and lake. There are no shops or restaurants within walking distance only nature and calmness. We're on a far area to be out of the light pollution from the city and increase your chances of watching the Northern Lights.
