The Logis Saint Léonard is a charming guest house built on the historic site of a thousand-year-old Cistercian abbey. Equipped with a large stone swimming pool (120m3 pool, large 2m deep bath) and a superb park with trees and flowers (4000 m2), the Logis Saint Léonard is a true haven of peace at the gates of La Rochelle. Ideally situated in relation to the tourist sites of Charente Maritime (La Rochelle, ile dé Ré, ile d'Aix, ile d'Oléron, Marais Poitevin, Rochefort...) it is also an ideal base for discovering the region by bike. The Vélodyssée and the Vélo Francette which take the canal of Marans are indeed less than 300 m away as the crow flies.

The house is in a hamlet between La Rochelle (6 km) and Dompierre sur mer (3 km). Dompierre is a small town in which you can nevertheless find all the amenities: shopping centre, market, bakeries, catering solutions, doctors, pharmacies, ... La Rochelle is only 6 km away with a very large shopping centre less than 5 km away.
The beaches are less than 10 km away. The canal of Marans at less than 500 m is ideal for walking, running or cycling.
