Enjoy your stay in the historical part of Montpellier with this freshly renovated and fully equipped flat. It has a fantastic view on one of the most prestigious historical squares of Montpellier, with the Saint-Pierre Cathedral and Ecole de Médecine. From there you will be anywhere in the Ecusson (historical center of the city), in less than 5 minutes. This 85 square meter duplex includes : - a living room/office, a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a separate toilet. - the first bedroom is located on the upper floor (right under the roof of the building) ; this room has a queen-size bed, comes with air conditioning and has the charm of exposed wooden beams. - a second bedroom with king-size bed and cathedral view : this bedroom has no air conditioning, so appropriate heat management has to be enforced during summer months (windows and panes should remain closed in the afternoon) ; several fans will help you deal with the eventual heat waves. Not recommended for elderly people (3rd floor, steep stairs).

The Ecusson has indescribable charm with architecture and historical landmarks everywhere, but also cool bars, squares and restaurants. In the close neighboorhood of the appartement, the Saint-Pierre cathedral (with its twin convivial pillars and its 12 chapels) and the school of Medecine together make a unique architectural unit. A bit further is the famous (and hype) Canourgue square or the promenade du Pérou with its 300-years old arch of Triumph. 300m away, the "jardin des Plantes", commissioned by king Henry the IVth in 1593, is one of the oldest public gardens in France.
