Set less than five minutes' walk from the centre of Llangollen. This spacious, modern detached house is an ideal base for enjoying this pretty town and beautiful area. Five bedrooms offer accommodation for up to ten people, with some bedrooms enjoying en-suite facilities, televisions or river views. There is an excellent kitchen, a large conservatory, lovely sitting and dining rooms and a patio garden with a summerhouse and views of Castell Dinas Bran, a hillside ruin popular with walkers who enjoy the breathtaking views once they reach it. Canal boats, good walks, water sports and excellent walking are all within easy reach. Please note: This property only accepts bookings Friday - Friday or Friday to Monday or Monday to Friday

Neighbourhood information

Sometimes called 'The Gateway to North Wales', the riverside town of Llangollen boasts an impressive mountain backdrop, sitting alongside the boulder-strewn River Dee. Visitors flock to the internationally renowned annual musical Eisteddfod, and throughout the year holidaymakers enjoy exploring the surrounding valley by steam train or canal boat, or trying out the many walking or cycling routes up to Castell Dinas Bran to enjoy the breathtaking views. The town itself has a good selection of amenities including shops, pubs and restaurants, while the National Trust properties of Chirk Castle and Erddig are easily reached by car. More walking can be enjoyed along the Offa's Dyke Path, running close to the town, while the mountains and coast of Snowdonia can be reached in an hour by car.
