Semi detached 1950's bungalow in quiet cul-de-sac on edge of residential estate in village of Minsterley. Holiday home used by owners periodically. The property offers a clean, comfortable and cosy environment for a relaxing holiday. Two double bedrooms with an option of a fold away bed for an extra child. 100 foot rear garden with a lovely view of local hills in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with access to a range of local walks. There is an outdoor seating area with use of a small bbq. Well behaved dogs are welcome. The property is perfect for those wanting a peaceful getaway in the countryside.
The property was formerly a family home which we now use as our own holiday getaway. We have been offering the property as a holiday rental for the past year and have enjoyed receiving positive feedback from guests and sharing our own love for the local area. We want guests to get the most out of their stay and will always be happy to discuss and advise if there are any queries.
MInsterley has a post office, Co-op store, fish and chips shop and butchers within walking distance of the property (approx 500 metres). There is a pub in the village and a number of local pubs serving food within a short drive. In the nearby village of Pontesbury (two miles) there is a highly recommended Chinese restaurant and an Indian restaurant. Shrewsbury is nine miles away and is an historic Tudor town on the banks of the River Severn with a large shopping centre, numerous restaurants and cinema complex and theatre. There is an hourly bus service to the town. There is an information pack at the property for guests with further information on local services and points of interest.
