Balmore is a two bedroom house in the village of Dunvegan in a quiet cul de sac. It is a 5 min walk to a good local restaurant and close to the local amenities. We are 10 mins walk to Dunvegan Castle and 20 mins drive to Neist Point Lighthouse. It is a cosy house heated by a lovely open log fire. It has a small kitchen, dining area and lounge. From the Lounge window you can see a view of the next doors croft. It has a shower room which is accessible and is on the ground floor, with a few steps to the private entrance.
We are a local couple who live close to the property. We both work locally and Duncan enjoys mechanics in his spare time and we both enjoy having the grandchildren. We love hosting guests and look forward to welcoming you.
Dunvegan is a nice wee village beside the Loch overlooking the Macleods Tables. There is a popular walk through the woods to the Castle called the two churches walk. The local pub is within walking distance and there is a small grocers shop, fruit and nut shop, post office and bakery. Several small cafes and lovely restaurant close by. Within 15 mins there is a great selection of pubs and fine dining including Stein inn, Edinbane Inn. Edinbane Lodge, Loch bay and the Three Chimneys.
