The History of Quay
Set up in 2006 by husband and wife team, Helen and Duncan, with just five properties, Quay’s portfolio now comprises over 120 properties. Today, Quay Holidays remains a family-run business, employing a knowledgeable team, all living in the local area. For us, local knowledge is Quay. Our dedicated team knows Poole and its surrounding areas inside out and is passionate about helping you find the perfect property for your holiday. From our base in Poole Old Town, we provide a comprehensive full-management service. Our meticulous cleaning crew and knowledgeable maintenance team take the stress out of holiday letting for homeowners and ensure our guests enjoy a consistently high-quality service. All our properties offer a home-from-home experience, evidenced by the many satisfied guests who return year after year. We offer everything from cosy one-bedroom apartments to spacious five-bedroom houses – just let us know what you need!
Your Quay to relaxation
Our offices are open 7 days a week for guest arrivals, so we are always on hand to answer queries. Our interactive website allows guests to explore our vast range of properties, located in and around the Poole and Bournemouth area, and book their stay 24 hours a day. For guests who would rather speak to us in person, our phone lines are open until 6pm Monday to Saturday, and 4pm on Sunday, with an out-of-hours service available during the evening for emergencies. Our directly employed Service Team ensures standards remain consistently high and any issues are dealt with promptly. All properties are provisioned with crisp linen and fluffy towels, including beach towels and a complimentary welcome pack of tea, coffee and hot chocolate together with local biscuits and nuts is provided. In the fridge, you will also find a nicely chilled bottle of white wine awaiting your arrival.

Beachcliff in Southbourne is a superb three-bedroom, second floor apartment with stunning panoramic sea views and two balconies. Southbourne beach can be accessed via the Fishermans Walk zig-zag path (and lift - a 2 min walk) opposite the property. Southbourne Town centre is a short (5/10 min) stroll where there is a great choice of restaurants and bars. Walking either way along the Promenade you can easily reach Boscombe Pier (30/40 mins) or Hengistbury Head (50/60 mins). Christchurch, Bournemouth, Poole, the New Forest and Jurassic coast are all only a short drive away making this a fabulous holiday destination.

Back bedroom (at the rear of the apartment) has built in wardrobe (with zip and link 5ft king-size bed or 2x 2ft 6ins single beds) and smart TV. Family bathroom with bath, shower plus handheld shower, sink and toilet.
Parking - There is one allocated space within the development's private parking area to the rear of the block.

Southbourne is a popular, mature and family-friendly suburb east of Bournemouth boasting a safe, sandy blue-flag beach accessed via the zig-zagging Fisherman’s Walk nature trail, or the Cliff Lift which operates from Easter until October. Parking is available on Southbourne Overcliff and local cafes, kiosks and pubs offer a range of refreshments. Brightly-coloured beach huts on the promenade are available to rent through BCP Tourism. A short distance to the east, Hengistbury Head offers fabulous walking routes through the dunes, along the coast and around the nature reserve with stunning views towards The Needles and the Isle of Wight. A gently sloping path brings walkers to the western mouth of Christchurch Harbour opposite Mudeford Quay, where the Beach House restaurant offers laid-back lunchtime dining in picturesque surroundings. An evening stroll inland to Southbourne Grove provides multiple opportunities to enjoy quality food and beverage outlets with a range of artisan restaurants, bars, microbreweries and coffee shops and the main centres of Bournemouth and Christchurch offering theatres, shopping and concert venues, are just a short drive away.
