Property information

All ground floor accommodation consisting of one standard double or twin room situated in the main farmhouse and 6 suites in the adjacent barn buildings. The rooms have views over the open fields, where sheep and lambs graze in the spring and summer months and our little family of Guinea Fowl forage for seeds and insects. Each room has access to the outside via patio doors and bistro chairs and table to enjoy the views. The suites have a sofa and a small kitchenette area with full sized fridge and cupboards equipped with crockery for in room snacks. There are no cooking facilities. Situated between Thirsk and Scarborough, Kirkbymoorside is a pleasant town and a good base for exploring the North York Moors National Park, Yorkshire coast and the surrounding area. Kirkbymoorside itself, while still a working place, retains a charming atmosphere of times gone by, with its partially cobbled main street, its many interesting buildings, a lovely medieval church and local walking trails. There are plenty of activities both locally and within easy reach including a superb golf course at Kirkbymoorside, Ryedale Folk Museum, Dalby Forest Centre, Malton is home to the popular food market, cookery school and Rare Bird gin distillery where you can create your very own blend.

Nestled at the foot of the stunning North Yorkshire Moors next to the historic market town of Kirkbymoorside, Brickfields Farm is a good base for exploring the National Park, coastline and quaint neighbouring villages. Set in 14 acres of naturally landscaped pasture, woodland and water, Brickfields Farm is a peaceful haven to return to after a busy day sight seeing. The on site restaurant "The Feather and Beak" serves freshly cooked seasonal dishes from the kitchen and the wood fired ovens.
