Enjoy a luxury stay at Castlepoint, a spectacular villa with stunning sea-views, a large patio, beach access and an extensive garden. The villa, graded 4* by Tourism NI, is located near 15th century Kilclief Castle, 3 miles from Strangford and within easy reach of nearby Ardglass, Downpatrick and Newcastle and also the cities of Belfast and Dublin. Built in 1973, the villa has been modernised but retains its striking retro decor and mid-century furnishings. Ideal for families, golfers, cyclists, hikers and wedding parties.
We are a couple based in the UK. Michael is from Northern Ireland and Lauren is from the USA. We have 2 children and enjoy spending time in our home countries and travelling when school and work schedules allow. A local manager is available to assist with any questions or issues you may have during your stay.
Public transportation is not widely available. Guests will need to arrive and depart the property by car and will need to use a car to access local shops and restaurants in Strangford, Ardglass or Downpatrick. Charging points for electric cars are located in Strangford. Supermarkets (Sainsbury's, Tesco) can deliver groceries ordered on-line to the location. Beach access is a short walk from the property and the vicinity offers opportunities for coastal walks and cycling.
