This house was amazing, very atmospheric, you could feel the history in it, and everything was in keeping, the furniture, paintings books etc. No tv or particular mod cons which was fine with me. Fabulous 4 poster comfy bed.

Poet Dylan Thomas had rooms at this historic farm in the 1940s; the idyllic 17th century farmhouse, with 18th century extension designed by John Nash, is set in organic farmland in the depths of rural Ceredigion close to many stunning beaches and offers a wonderfully peaceful room with idyllic views, private entrance and Music/breakfast room for your use. Beautifully furnished, it is a historic yet luxurious and curiously relaxing, homely setting where you can find peace and rest from life's bustle and rush.
I love welcoming people as I grew up in the house and love to share it with people who appreciate it!
South of Aberystwyth and North of Cardigan, Gelly is perfectly situated for exploring all the beauty of West Wales. Within easy reach of the coast, you can also access Southern Snowdonia, the Preseli hills and the Brecon beacons as well as the nearby Cambrian mountains. Kidwelly, and Carreg Cennen are just two of the castles within an hour's drive; the National Trust's Llanarchaeron, also by John Nash, is just a few miles along the valley towards Aberaeron, where this visionary architect designed the pretty little fishing town too.
