There is a kitchen/diner with a double electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, dining seating for eight and a utility with a washing machine and dishwasher. The snug has a TV with Freeview and electric fire, the sitting room has a TV with Freeview and woodburning stove and the games room has an ice-cream freezer and pool table. The bedrooms consist of a ground-floor super-king-size (zip/link) with en-suite, a super-king-size and a two king-size with en-suites, along with a bathroom and two cloakrooms. Outside, there is a off-road parking and a large garden with a lawn, patio and furntiure. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. There is a highchair, travel cot and stairgate available. Apologies, no pets and no smoking. Within 0.9 miles there is a shop and within 0.8 miles, a pub. Kringlands makes a charming base for exploring the hills and coast of Scotland. Please note: Check in is 5pm and check-out is 10am.

Kirkcolm, formerly known as Stewarton, was founded in the early 17th century. The village has a nice pub and a playground. Beautiful coastal walks offer excellent birdwatching. Stranraer, a ferry port at the head of Loch Ryan, is 6 miles away. Stranraer is the gateway to the Rhins of Galloway Peninsula, and its main attraction is the ruined Castle of St John. Old town hall houses Stranraer Museum.
Three miles east of Stranraer is Castle Kennedy Gardens, with a castle, two lochs, a giant lily pond, and monkey puzzle trees. Portpatrick, 11 miles away, has pubs and restaurants.
