Hi, Semi - detached house situated on quiet no through road street above sea level giving excellent views over to The Isle of Skye and Loch Alsh . Please note this is a SMALL room within a house, room is well equipped and 108ft square / 10m squared so it is a COMPACT room with private small en- suite with power shower , also extras included , tea/coffee/biscuits/toiletries and towels. Bed is a new small double 190 x 135 / 6'2 x 4'6 .We DO NOT offer breakfast nor access to kitchen or other rooms . We do sometimes cater to other guests and I live in the property SOME of the time . It is accessible either with key safe or 'normal ' check in IF we're around . Please keep and read initial email with important check - in details , we look forward to welcoming you to this stunning area !
Hi , Welcome to Lochalsh! We sometimes live off site but please feel free to ask any questions. Check in is simplified with my initial email so either open access or key safe . I have a good local knowledge of area having been both visiting since 1971 and now living here since 2001 enjoying the mountains , sight seeing , fishing and beautiful environment . I also travel a fare bit so please if we can help with your journey in any way we'll do our best / advise , best wishes, Glenn.
Excellent base to explore Skye and Lochalsh. Isle of Skye is literally a 3 minute drive or 20 minute walk. We also have a bus terminal , train station too.Locally in the village there are 9 eateries ranging from takeaways to fine seafood either dedicated restaurants or within hotels, 3 of these are bars all selling food . There is a chemist , post office , bus depot, train station , lovely log framed swimming pool, with sauna and fitness centre . Located almost on the main road to ALL destinations. 3/4 mile from Skye , 5 mile form the famous village of Plockton, 5 mile to the world famous Eilean Donan castle too. Many activities available locally , fishing, kayaking, rare wildlife (otter hides 300m away) , hiking , bus trips and recently flying from a small runway !
