Located within the Cairngorms National Park, the Macdonald Aviemore Hotel at Macdonald Aviemore Resort is part of the Macdonald Aviemore Resort which boasts a collection of 4-star hotels, a choice of restaurants and bars, as well as extensive leisure facilities including an on-site cinema. There is a championship golf course nearby. Please be aware that Thunder in the Glens event will be taking place on resort from the 22nd - 24th August 2025 inclusive. This event will cause elevated noise levels due to being a motorcycle event, and there will also be live music being played around the resort until late evening.
